burning down herself twice a day exhaling life inhaling your vapours she's not modern like her sister NYC she's not political like DC she's not mountain high tall buildings everywhere like a windy city she's built on ports an older city with one way roads and carriage thin highways brick sidewalks and peeling-painted apartments she's not a show off she is what she is i love when she engulfs me and takes me for a walk she burns herself down twice a day and lives in her burning ashes industrial and dangerous and she's my one home. she's Baltimore, Maryland. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
